This exceptional event raises the question as to which is better investment for the future of Jordan;
A New Capital City, costly, certainly adding to the already bloated bureaucracy.
OR
A Jordanian TECHNION similar to the Technion;Israeli Institute of Technology
A Jordan CALTEC; California Institute of Technology.
Which better serves the country, government or people of Jordan, an added expensive City of Concrete with clear benefits to the developers and the contractors
or
Top notch Technical & Scientific University that can educate and qualify hundreds of thousands of Jordanian ( best renewal assets) and getting them ready for the future.? The new city will not do any good if and when the 300,000 Jordanian in KSA or the Gulf are asked to go home.
King Abdullah opened the future for Jordan and his people, let us hope he put the money where it is needed in human capital investment, in setting up the best technical and scientific university in the entire Middle East. Mabrouk Jordan.
