Lara Alameddine works as an International Consultant for the UNDP. She holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Financial Engineering as well as a Master’s Degree in Education and Training, Major Research. She has written the certification manual for the Government of Algeria, based on which professionals of the financial sector get their working license since 2012. She is also the Owner and Founder of “Vis-à-Vie” an innovative Educational Model that is being developed through a Ph.D. research study at the University of Paris-Descartes – La Sorbonne in Paris. This dynamic Educational Model aims at serving the new generation of children from kindergarten to high school with the best skills to face the ongoing global challenges of the modern society. It offers progressive studies in social, emotional and relational learning that helps students develop their creativity and that raises their knowledge in many topics such as the new types of intelligence, communication, leadership, self-awareness, critical thinking, ethics and values, new technologies, environment, health and creative arts. Vis-à-Vie aims at training highly skilled teachers as well as parents that want to learn more about it.
Many countries from Europe, the USA, Canada, Asia, the GCC and the MENA, as well as many international institutions such as the European Commission, showed their interest in developing “Vis-à-Vie” in schools and as tailor-made programmes for refugees, parents, teachers, teenagers and university students.
